Witchblade.
The Witchblade is the offspring of two Ab Initio Artifacts, the Darkness and the Angelus. It usually takes the form of a complex metal gauntlet. Since it is male in nature, it seeks out female hosts.
Overview[]
As stated before, the Witchblade is the result of a union between the Darkness and the Angelus. Both artifacts are opposing forces with the Darkness being darkness and chaos while the Angelus being light and order. Throughout the centuries both artifacts have been at war with each other and constantly try to kill the wielder of either the Darkness or the Angelus. However, during their first battle, the clashing between the Darkness and Angelus resulted in an offspring. That offspring would be known as the Witchblade. The Witchblade was created as a balance between the Darkness and the Angelus.
Description[]
The Witchblade is semi-organic and reacts towards supernatural threats. It is able to grant its host a variety of weapons and powers. While it is inactive, the Witchblade would look like a heavy jewel encrusted bracelet and is usually worn on the right wrist.
When worn, the Witchblade has a symbiotic relationship with its wielder. As such it is the only one who decides who is worthy of bonding with it. However, even if it has chosen the host, should the wielder become unworthy of the Witchblade, it will cut off their right arm. While active, it wraps itself around the host’s body while tearing up their clothing in the process. It becomes a body armor and weapon at the same time. The amount of armor that comes out of the Witchblade to protect the host will always depend on the level of threat.
Capabilities[]
Due to being an offspring of two opposing primal forces of the universe, the Witchblade is an extremely powerful weapon. When worn, the Witchblade grants and enhances its host with superhuman attributes and allows the wielder to go toe-to-toe with many powerful supernatural beings. The Witchblade has also shown the ability to adapt during a battle, meaning that it is able to study the opponent its host is fighting and counter the enemy's own weaponry.
The Witchblade can form many different types of weapons and can also shoot energy blasts and other projectiles. The Witchblade is also known to be able to damage incorporeal beings and is capable of harming other-dimensional entities and immortal beings. It also has the ability to control and manipulate the elements.
