The Witch of Izalith and her daughters
The Witch of Izalith is an ancient witch that existed during the Pre-Flood Age. She is said to be the first witch in history and the progenitor of witches.
Description[]
Being an Antediluvian, the Witch of Izalith appears to be a towering being with blue lips and ashen skin. Her hands were burnt from dabbling in extreme methods of witchcraft to repel the Watchers and other Pre-Flood monsters. She wears a much more refined version of the clothes her children wear, and is visibly taller than both her children and the catalysts they used, likely being able to draw upon her soul without such a tool.
Overview[]
Her true name is unknown as it has been lost to time but what is known of her is that she lived during the dark days of Noah before the Great Flood. Among the humans that were corrupted by the Watchers, she managed to escape from the evil touch of the fallen angels. Wanting to defend herself, she was approached by Hecate, the Greek goddess of witchcraft, who took pity on her and offered her ancient knowledge of magic to repel the Watchers. She accepted and from there on, became the Witch of Izalith. She was called the Witch of Izalith as she resided in the lost city of Izalith that was buried by the Flood.
As the years went by, the Witch of Izalith attracted followers, many of whom were female while few were male, and formed one of the earliest coven of witches in human history. The coven was formed to defend themselves against the Nephilim and the corrupt humans who used the knowledge given to them by the Watchers to encompass the Earth in war and ruin. The Witch also was said to have mothered four daughters, and gave pieces of her soul to them. They joined in the war against the Nephilim, and used their power to weave great firestorms to push them back and defeat them.
After the Flood waters receded, the physical body of the Witch of Izalith was destroyed though her soul remained intact through her daughters, some of whom took to Noah's sons as their wives in order to board Noah's Ark. From her daughters, more witches began to emerge, with the Witch of Endor, who was known for summoning the spirit of Samuel, believed to be a descendant of Izalith herself.
