Earth is destroyed by the Weltenbrand
The Weltenbrand is an important part of Norse and Germanic eschatology and is literally translated "the burning of the worlds".
Overview[]
In Norse mythology, it is said to occur during the final moments of Ragnarök, the twilight of the Æsir gods, and when the colossal fire jötunn Surtr releases the primordial destructive flames of the Ember Stone, one of the Ab Initio Artifacts, upon the realms around Yggdrasil. When the realms and most beings, including the Æsir, Vanir, Jötunn, elves, dwarves and humans, are destroyed, the land is razed and sinks back into the primeval sea.
In terms of the eschatology of the Anung Un Rama prophecy, it will occur during the climatic moments of the End Times. In regards to it being the climax of the End Times, this particularly happens when Elizabeth Sherman, who wields the Secret Fire of God, will unleash her full power thereby incinerating the surviving Ogdru Hem and their ilk as the flames engulf the entire world, burning away the corruption of the Ogdru Hem. Eventually, the world will be reborn from the ashes with a new generation of mortals.
