
Undead
Undead is a label that applies to any mortal being that has returned to life through means other than those which have been divinely permitted, a state commonly known as Undeath.
Description[]
The undead are beings that are deceased but behave as if they were alive. Beings of this nature tend to only retain some of their biological processes, with many no longer having the need to eat, breath, or sleep. Their bodily systems will also cease to function, and the aging process will halt. Many of the undead may also be marked by some curse that keeps them on the mortal plane or prevents them from moving on to another.
Types[]
There are several types of undead beings, a common example of an undead being is a corpse reanimated by supernatural forces, by the application of either the deceased's own life force or that of another being (such as a demon). The undead may be incorporeal (ghosts) or corporeal (mummies, vampires and zombies).
