| “ | Rimmon, whose delightful Seat Was fair Damascus, on the fertil Banks Of Abbana and Pharphar, lucid streams. He also against the house of God was bold: A Leper once he lost and gain'd a King, Ahaz his sottish Conquerour, whom he drew Gods Altar to disparage and displace for one of Syrian mode, whereon to burn his odious off'rings, and adore the Gods wom he had vanquisht. | „ |

Rimmon, also known as Remmon or Remnon, is a demonic god from Syria, who is actually a fallen archangel, Duke under Asmodeus, the Infernal King's first physician and Hell's ambassador to Russia.
History[]
Background[]
Rimmon was originally an archangel, who took part in the War of Heaven, after which he was cast down alongside Lucifer and was present during his rally in Pandemonium.
Within the Bible he appears as the god of the Syrians who oppose Israel. Naaman, a Syrian commander, who worshipped the idol, was cured from leprosy by the Israelite prophet Elijah with the power of Yahweh. According to the biblical narrative, the Aramean commander Naaman, having been healed of his leprosy, requested pardon from God for continuing to minister to the King of Syria who would continue to worship in the Temple of Rimmon. Elijah granted him this pardon.
Ambassador to Russia[]
When in the mortal realm, Rimmon dwells beneath the Russian embassy in Damascus, Syria, acting as both Hell's Ambassador of Russia, and Russia's ambassador of Syria. Thanks to the meddling of Rimmon, Russia enjoyed a historically strong, stable, and friendly relationship with Syria, as it did with most countries within the Arab World up until the Arab Spring.
