Before his fall, Ramiel was tasked into watching over the humans alongside his Grigori brethren, and provide thunderous sounds that accompany the lighting being conjured by the angel Baraqiel. Ramiel served as Baraqiel's loyal lieutenant, the two embodying the forces of thunder and lightning.

If Baraqiel's fall was like a strike of lightning, Ramiel's was like the rumbling of thunder. One fell after the other, Ramiel loyal as ever following the lead of his heavenly brother Baraqiel wherever he went, even when he began delving deeper into the dark arts in search for greater power and even when he presented himself before God's throne to renounce his servitude to the great deity.

Emboldened by his brother, Ramiel opened his mouth in preparation rebuke his creator with his tremendous shout, but before he could complete his sentence he watch as Baraqiel was thrown out of the throne room and sent plummeting over the edge of heaven. Ramiel's mind scrambled to process what had happened, but before it could he too felt the hand of God eject him from the heavenly plane with a tremendous force unlike anything he had ever felt before.

Vengeance[]

It is said that the impact from the fall shattered Ramiel, sending his thunderous essence across the earth. Tremendous storms formed during this period and clouds blanketed the sky for decades over the region where he fell. Despite being broken eventually the fallen angel rose once again, having lost much of his holy essence but still surprisingly alive.

Unfortunately for the other fallen, Ramiel has not been the same since his fall, blaming Baraqiel for his broken state and refusing to trust in any being but himself. Ramiel also secretly plots to usurp all power for himself and works only with the other fallen so he may advance this goal. Once he has achieved ultimate power he plans to unleash it upon the fallen so they suffer for guiding him to his painful downfall.
