Nyame (or Onyamekopon) is the supreme god of the Akan people of Ghana, the King of the local Gods and a Primordial.
Like all Primordials, Nyame was created through the clashing of God and Chaos and after being molded by Asherah was then tasked to fight Chaos alongside God, but the precursor-deities were not considered a threat during the early days of the Universe. Nyame and the other primordials were spared by God, who allowed them to reside over the Earth.
Nyame would become worshipped by the people of Ghana, and seen as the god of sky. He would at some point also be married to the Earth-goddess Asase Ya.
