Majestic 12 (or MJ-12), also known as the Patriots, World Security Council, or the Council of Twelve, and previously known as MAJI, is the code name of a secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 to oversee the Global Occult Coalition and Federal Bureau of Control.
Description[]
MAJI, to conceal its existence, adopted the cover name of "Majestic-12." It created numerous covert and compartmented sub-divisions such as Projects Aquarius, Sigma, Snowbird and Garnet, to name a few. These projects were sheltered by MAJI and directed by select personnel of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA).
This group was made up of a team representing selected government officials, U.S. intelligence personnel, highly trained scientists, business executives and military personnel. All were sworn to total secrecy and as such almost no one is aware of who the actual members are. Some of the members are even rumored to not even be human such as the enigmatic "Board" which are a select group of paranatural entities.
MAJI has continued its covert activities with the knowledge of the Presidents. Information forwarded to and the activity of MAJI has always been assigned an Above "Top Secret classification," known as MAJIC, a classification that is beyond the knowledge of even the heads of paramilitary organizations within the Dark Knight Initiative whose agencies operate on plausible deniability since they officially do not exist.

The "Majestic Twelve" emerged during a period in the late 1950s known as the Space Age when America was in an arms race with Russia in sending the first satellite in space and by the early 1990s had complete control of the United States of America and its people to the point where they are positioned even above the likes of Federal Bureau of Control and the Global Occult Coalition. Because of this, MAJI also purportedly holds an authority that rivals or is perhaps even above the United Nations.
As the World Security Council, the organization was created with the intention to fulfill the ideal of a unified world that fosters peace. However, differences in opinion and how the Council was being run led to more than a decade of infighting within the organization. Now known as the Majestic Twelve, the organization regained much of their former power to the point where they eventually had control over the entirety of the United States government. They were also said to have been aware of the Illuminati and their activities but have been carefully playing an extremely intricate game of four-dimensional chess to perceive the outcome and whether it will benefit them or not.
It is revealed that members of the Majestic Twelve have been replaced with A.I.s programmed to take complete control once the human members were either dead, or unable to act, eventually warping their original programming by exploiting the world's war economy to grow the fortunes they had obtained.
