The Lake of Fire is a lake of fire and brimstone that is a symbolism of absolute destruction and appears at the very depths of the Abyss created by God to punish all evil in Creation.

This Lake is a prison where most demons, Satan, the Antichrist and the most irredeemable mortal sinners will be cast into during the Last Judgment to suffer terrible anguish for rest of their existence.
It is often confused with Hell but is actually a different concept: Hell itself will be plunged into the Lake of Fire with all its inhabiting sinners, according to the original prophecy of the Bible. Unlike Hell, the Lake of Fire is considered God's absolute final punishment and will effectively destroy all evil from the mortal world, allowing the Kingdom of Heaven to rule forever.
Later on, God had moved the hellish, fiery lake into the depths of Tartarus far below even Cocytus itself. It also serves as the final destination for demons and fallen angels who perished. While their physical bodies are destroyed, their spirits or essence continue to linger, but depending on the demon or fallen angel they can only reconstitute themselves a select number of times, usually two or three, before they could no longer reform and instead are plunged into the Lake of Fire.
