Kokabiel is considered to be the 'angel of the stars,' along with being a fallen angel, and the fourth mentioned of the 20 Watcher leaders of the 200 fallen angels in the Book of Enoch.

His name is generally translated as "star of God," which is fitting since it has been said that Kokabiel taught astrology to his associates as well as the humans. Like his fellow Watchers, he was subdued by the Heavenly Host and imprisoned within Sheol for his transgressions against God and Heaven.
According to the Book of Enoch, as well as the angel Raziel, Kokabiel is a holy angel; in other apocryphal lore, however, he is generally considered to be fallen. Kokabiel is said to command an army of 365,000 spirits in the Underworld despite the fact that he was imprisoned within Sheol alongside his fellow fallen Watchers.
