Infinite Corridor
The Infinite Corridor, also known as the Spiral, is a hyperspace tunnel that gives access to many different worlds separated from this world's space and time.
Description[]
The Infinite Corridor is presented by the mage Saint Germain as a mystical path, out of time and space, which acts as a central waypoint linking our world to many other worlds and dimensions, like a hidden existential thoroughfare. To those in it, it looks like an endless tunnel of swirling turquoise and pink energy.
The Corridor is essentially a hyperspace tunnel used as a mode of transportation to reach extra-dimensional realms, and in this case they are used by the enigmatic observers of the multiverse known as the Wandsmen. According to one of the Wandsmen, the Infinite Corridor is linked to the Nexus of Abandoned Places and likens the connection to that of a plant's roots or vines. Seeing as how all of existence is attached to the Tree of Life's primary roots, or rather the Axis Mundi, the latter begin to branch off into lateral roots with these lateral roots serving as the Infinite Corridor which leads however is using it to the Nexus points.
Overview[]
Since the Convergence was a result of the Tree of Life's roots being misaligned, doors to the Corridor itself are sparse and flicker in and out of existence, and even these are very difficult to bust open, as opening the way is tremendously taxing. Much like how Ways can be used to gain entry to the Wanderer's Library, a gate from the Corridor can be opened from anywhere but unlike Ways, the requirements of opening a Corridor much less even finding one is incredibly difficult and like the Nexus points can only be used by individuals whose psychologies are cross-dimensional.
Once in the Corridor, those with magical aptitude can try to open doors on its walls, opening a gate to other worlds and dimensions. However, doing also demands great power, and only those with great power or with access to a considerable magical source can actually control the energies generated by the Corridor with any degree of accuracy which explains as to how the demon lords of Hell were able to use the Corridor as a means of exiting the Inferno and unto the human world given their enormous power but still needed valuable resources to properly channel and contain the temporal energies emitted by the Convergence to form and even use the Corridor safely. As per Saint Germain's words, it took him one year to recover his strength after using the Corridor once.
