Imugi
Imugis are lesser dragons that resemble giant salamanders from Korean mythology.
Description[]
Imugis resemble giant salamanders, with a rounded head, lizard-like body and short, blunt toes. Their eyes are mostly degenerated and they appear to have no teeth. The gas they breathe out is extremely toxic to the point of causing death on inhalation and will explode if ignited.
Overview[]
An imugi is described as a "proto-dragon" that must survive one thousand years in order to become a fully-fledged Okami dragons, essentially making them a larval form of Okami dragons. Since they are quite reclusive it is difficult to fully document their lifecycle and feeding habits which allows them to pupate into full dragons. Imugis live in deep, dark caves or waters and their sighting is associated with good luck. Since they live inside caves they tend to feed on creatures like bats or other animals and some have even been seen devouring goblins.
