Hutgin, also known as Hutijin, is Hell's ambassador to the nation of Turkey and a Duke of Hell under the demon Mephistopheles.

He is considered one of Mephistopheles' most loyal servants and keeps his infernal court safe from intruders. He is also a short tempered demon, who often makes deals with mortals that summon him only to then quickly kill them for aggravating him.
Description[]
The Dictionnaire Infernal describes him as following: Demon who finds pleasure in obliging men, enjoying their company, answering their questions, and doing them a service when he can, according to the traditions of Saxony. Here is one of the many favors attributed to him: "A Saxon going on a journey, and finding himself very anxious about his wife's conduct," said to Hutgin; - Companion, I recommend my wife to you; take care to keep it until I return. - The wife, as soon as her husband was gone, wanted to give herself licenses; but the demon prevented it. Finally the husband returned; Hutgin ran to meet him and said, "You do well to come back, because I'm starting to tire of the commission you gave me." I filled it with all the sorrows in the world; and I beg you not to be absent any longer, because I would rather keep all the swine in Saxony than your wife. We see that this demon hardly resembles the others.
