The House of Ideas.
The House of Ideas, also known as the House of Mystery or the House of Secrets, was originally the dwelling of the Almighty, the ultimate creator of everything. Within this space, infinite stories are born, and thoughts and ideas can take physical shape.
Overview[]
In the beginning, the House has many entry points on Earth since humanity is essential to God's designs. When it was abandoned, it was left in the care of Dream of the Endless although much later on under unknown circumstances it is now under the ownership of John Constantine who won it in a card game. It would also be used as a base of operations for the Midnight Suns while also serving as a dwelling place for other members.
After God abandoned the House, thoughts and ideas could no longer take physical shape, although there can be some exceptions at times. Nowadays, the house acts as a repository for all kinds of stories and books. The architecture is indeterminate and actually changes periodically. The same holds true for the inside of the house: the rooms constantly shift about, and one never enters the same room twice. In addition, the house cannot be perceived through technological scans or mystical surveillance. Moreover, the house exists outside of time and space although those who have current ownership of the house can summon it at any time and can apport to any location.
Description[]
The House is a sentient living being. It is virtually indestructible, and can fix any damages done to it. The House is virtually a realm that houses infinite amount of monsters and organisms, which John uses as his personal army. The House can travel through different realms and in between time and space, where John can use it as a means to travel and escape. The House exist in a "Void of Time." Time does not pass in the House itself, as though it would seem as the residents can spend years in the house without appearing to age.
Any uninvited visitors that unwittingly goes inside the house is stricken with psychological attacks. They are cursed, and are forced to relive their worst nightmares. Worst of all, they become slaves of the owner of the House, John Constantine to be specific, and are under their control. John can summon them back at the house whenever he needs them.
