Glaaki

Glaaki, also Gla'aki, is a Great Old One that dwells in the Southeast of the archipelagos called the Gale Cliffs.

Description

Whilst he is aquatic in nature, in his physical form Glaaki resembles nothing so much as an enormous slug with slender spines which appear to be made of matte metal, but which are in fact organic in nature. In addition, it is capable of forming tentacles tipped with eyes, so as to keep its true nature hidden whilst observing the world from beneath the water's surface.

Overview

Much like the rest of his kind, Glaaki is as old as the stars themselves but unlike most of the Ogdru Hem, Glaaki did not participate in the Battle of the Powers, instead simply opting to conceal his presence in deep lakes. Since prehistoric times, Glaaki was an observer, learning of the world and its inhabitants above and below. He had a vast reservoir of knowledge, not only of the supernatural entities that exist on Earth, but of those which predate it.

Glaaki made his dwelling within a region of the Southeast archipelagos islands known as the Gale Cliffs where his cult, a group of depraved humans both mortal and undead, wrote a series of scriptures known as The Revelations of Glaaki. However, his cult would often clash with another that were followers of another Great Old One, Bokrug, but Glaaki did not seek a confrontation with the Great Water Lizard. It is believed that the Collector, a resident of The Marrows, made contact with Glaaki and had notes detailing the true end of the world from the somewhat recovered scriptures of The Revelations of Glaaki.
