“ | Necromancers are banned from mage society for a reason. Tampering with the balance of life and death is a one way ticket to banishment or worse. But the act of doing so through demonic means is...well, forbidden would be quite an understatement. | „ |

Devil Forgemasters, or simply known as Forgemasters, are humans trained in the dark arts and, akin to their namesake, bear the ability to create and forge demonic and wicked creatures.
Description[]
Forgemasters are a subclass of Necromancers and disgraced mages; whereas Necromancers use dark magic to raise the dead, Forgemasters channel the power of Hell itself into a corpse that is then reanimated into a demonic creature. Forgemasters are able to utilize Argent energy by gathering and crushing condensed crystalized shards of destroyed demons. Then during an alchemical process can imbue a tool with raw Argent energy that allows them to extract the essence of a demon by having it materialize in a human body.
A Forgemaster can only subtract the essence of a demon through Argent via specially handcrafted tool. The tool itself has to be special according to Hector and should be crafted as though they were constructing a new piece for their own bodies. In addition, the material of the tool must be mixed with crystalized blood from demons. Once complete, the Forgemaster's tool essentially operates as a tuning fork that can guide the screaming damned and demonic to a singular voice amidst their rambling before it siphons their essence from the Pit and graft onto a body. Since the tool is part of the Forgemaster, the night fiends hold strict and utter loyalty to their respective Forgemaster and grow in power through battle and destruction.
A Forgemaster's knowledge and expertise extends beyond the magic of devil forging to encompass magic in general, necromancy in particular, alchemy, spiritual metaphysics, magical item, arsenal, and weapon crafting, and more.
