The Deathless War, also known as the War of the Deathless Empire or the Kalmaktama War, was an event that occurred thousands of yeas ago, possibly around 1200 BCE.
Overview[]
The war involved the rise of the Sarkic civilization, who intended to plunge the planet into an age of disease, flesh, and darkness; It written that the Sarkites would achieve this by using the power of the Progenitor Virus that emanated from the Chicxulub Impact sent by Yaldabaoth millions of years ago. It marked the first time in existence where the kingdom of man allied itself with supernatural world to combat the threat of the Sarkics. This event is also believed to have inspired the creation of the Dark Knight Initiative.
History[]
Background[]
Sarkic civilization, having reached its zenith, began to spread into the Caucasus, Anatolia, Balkans, and parts of the Levant and Mesopotamia. This semi-mythical state would come to refer to itself as the "Kalmaktama" or the "Deathless". The Sarkic empire began to establish colonies throughout vast regions and in each of the regions laid a great many monstrosities of flesh, disease, and terrible power. The Kalmaktama Empire established a foothold in the Mediterranean, invading/colonizing the islands of Cyprus, Crete, and Gyaros. The empire began to utilize the power of the Progenitor Virus that dwelled within the Chicxulub asteroid to terraform the planet for the purpose of delivering it to Yaldabaoth. However, there was resistance for an alliance or coalition of kingdoms and entities was formed in response to the Sarkic threat, resulting in a war around 1200 BCE.
Coalition of Earth, Heaven, and Hell[]
Archaeological findings such as mass graves, weapons, terrain damage, and primary source documents (such as ancient scrolls and manuscripts not found in other scriptures) reveal the extreme biblically supernatural nature of the war. Historians of the Federal Bureau of Control estimate a death toll ranging from 20 to 30 million, making it the fourth most devastating war in recorded history. According to recovered documents, the coalition formed in response to the Kalmaktama Empire included kingdoms of man such Egyptians, Mycenaean Greeks, Germanics, Minoans, Canaanites, Assyrians, among other civilizations joining forces with other supernatural entities such as armies of werewolves, vampires, several dragons, the heavenly host, and even the legions of Hell led by the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda, along with several gods, Ghost Riders, witches (both male and female), and even Cain himself.
Most details of the war are unknown to the Bureau. Although the advancements in weaponry that the mortals made proved significant in the tidings of the war, example being the heavy use of a substance resembling "Greek fire", that turned the tide of war against the Sarkites. From what could be found in some of the scrolls and manuscripts, which were purportedly engraved within many myths and legends but has since been lost to time, the gods rained their wrath upon the abominations with the powers of the Earth and the cosmos, beasts of the earth and sky (possibly referencing the many supernatural monsters) covered the Sarkic legions like locusts with the dragons engulfing their armies in flames that reeked of burning deathly flesh, and the angelic host with the legions of Hell is described by what remains of biblical scriptures as an "Annulment of Heaven and Hell" to bring death upon that which is not of God's making.
Victory and Bronze Age Collapse[]
The historians found what they assume to be the high-ranked officials of the Sarkites dubbed as the "abominations of diseased flesh" in the Dead Sea Scrolls engaging against the "princes of beasts and divine" which they believe were the leading forces of the resistance against the Sarkites. The beings, or "princes", that are speculated to have engaged against the high-elects were Lycaon, the werewolf king, Sparda the Knight of Hell, and Michael who lead the Heavenly Host of angels.
The combined alliance and efforts of man, monster, demon, and divine overwhelmed the Sarkics enough that what remained were forced to retreat. When the war was over, the Kalmaktama Empire was destroyed along with Sarkic civilization. As for the fate of the artifacts, they were divided from one another and hidden in secure strong-holds that no one would ever hope to find. The angels managed to eradicate the biological infestation that was left behind by the Sarkites with the gods restoring the previously contaminated grounds and skies back to their natural states.
Despite gaining victory over the Sarkic civilization the damage to the region was great and many civilizations did not recover, especially in the wake of the Beast Wars that resulted in the collapse of various kingdoms, a crisis of refugees, the decline of art, literature, science, and technology; an event later known to historians as the Late Bronze Age collapse. Moreover, the alliance soon crumbled many centuries later when Mundus announced his attack on the human world, werewolves and vampires fought over food and land, and many gods became forgotten, losing their worship.
