Humanoid

Humanoids are non-human beings who bear human-like characteristics such as bipedal locomotion, hands with opposable thumbs, binocular vision, etc. The term can apply both to evolutionarily divergent species of human which have split of from the rest of humanity and species which share no genetic relation but have developed a body structure similar to humans due to convergent evolution.
