Feritility deities are beings who provide new life, such as good harvests for crops, as well as healthy livestock and newborn children.
Due to the imporatnce of these things, they were among the most worshipped deities in their respective pantheons.
Still, some feritility deities have proven to be quite perverse: the most famous ones are likely the Biblical Moloch, who demanded child-sacrifices from his followers, and the Outer Goddess Shub-Nibburath, who provides "nutrients" to her followers that turn them into eldritch abominations.
