Bulu was the Fijian underworld and also the home of the spirits.

Overview

The area is said to be separated by the village of Nabagatai, where the souls of the dead lived. In the month of Ratumaibulu [corresponding roughly to November] , the god Ratumaibulu comes from Bulu, to make the breadfruit and other fruit trees blossom and yield fruit.
