ARC insignia
The Armored Response Coalition, otherwise known as ARC, is a global military crisis-relief initiative formed by the combined efforts of the Allied Nations under the Global Occult Coalition and Federal Bureau of Control to oppose the invasion of the Thirteen Elder vampires.
Overview[]
ARC was established by the Allied Nations to succeed where modern militaries proved ineffective against the all-powerful Lasombra vampires during the Blackest Night. Initially, when the Lasombras had awoken, humanity sent advanced tank brigades and infantry which even that was nothing but child's play for these god-like vampires. ARC served as a unification of the two most powerful organizations on Earth that being the Global Occult Coalition and the Federal Bureau of Control.
Since its inception, ARC began running operations from the Mobile Command Carrier, a seaborne command center designed for long-range strike operations. They would even be joined by the Werekin who replenished their numbers and united for the first time in thousands of years after their battle with Azog. With cutting-edge technology, they developed powerful weapons to help aid the Werekin in gaining an advantage over the Lasombra elders.
But in spite of the advanced technologies, ARC and humanity were fighting a losing battle, specifically after the sudden emergence of the Ogdru Hem in the wake of a devastating explosion that destroyed New York City, wiping it off the map. Guided by the ghost of Edward Grey, the coordinates of the secret cave-entrances to the Hollow Earth are beamed into the computers of ARC, who in turn share the information with the various civilian governments and militaries around the world, hoping for as many people as possible to make it to them. ARC also plans to evacuate and reestablish itself underground.
