Arakiel wandering the Earth.

Arakiel is a fallen angel, the second mentioned of the 20 Watchers that lead the 200 fallen angels in the Book of Enoch.

Description[]

The angel's name is translated as "Earth of God"; the combination of araq-earth (Babylonian in origin) and El-God. Arakiel is also called Aretstikapha (meaning "world of distortion”).

Arakiel is said to have possessed powerful geokinetic magic that enabled the angel to move entire mountains at will. As an angel with dominion over the earth, Arakiel taught humans how to harvest the many minerals that grow beneath and upon the Earth.

Overview[]

It is believed that Arakiel was instrumental in the Enochian uprising against heaven. When the other fallen angels came to Arakiel asking for help in the war against Heaven, the angel provided it by teaching humans the "signs of the earth" (believed to be the art of geomancy) so that they may aid in the rebellion.

Upon learning of this treachery, God sent the strongest of his angels to apprehend Arakiel and bring the angel before his heavenly throne to answer for the actions committed. The ensuing battle resulted in the creation of various mountain ranges across the earth as Arakiel entered into Ascension Form and unleashed tremendous geokinetic power like never before, fighting tirelessly to evade capture. The conflict shook the very foundations of the earth, and it is unknown if the angels managed to apprehend the fallen angel or if Arakiel wanders free, still in active rebellion against God to this very day.
