Amaymon.
Amaymon (or Amaimon) is a Prince of Hell who represents the sin of Greed and, according to some Grimoires, is said to be the only one who has power that rivals Asmodeus.

A curious characteristic of this Spirit is shown during the Evocation of Asmoday to visible appearance, when the exorcist must stand upright with his Cap or Headdress removed in a show of respect; for if he does not it is Amaymon who will deceive him and doom all his work.

Background[]
Amaymon's origins are not fully explored so it is unknown if he was a fallen angel or a demon born in the confines of Hell. What is known is that he possesses immense power to warrant him as a Prince of Hell and king of either the West or East. Asmoday and sometimes Gaap are said to be his servants. He is said to have some relation to the Marquis Aamon more likely a older brother.
He was the sovereign of the Western region in Hell and was summoned by the ancestors of the Bernhard Family thousands of years ago, likely around the time of the Dark Reign when Mundus intended to rule over the Earth. Even for a Prince of Hell, Amaymon wielded frightening demonic power, so much that the demon easily shook off the control of the summoners who brought him to Earth, before setting his sights on nothing short of the destruction of humanity.
Imprisonment[]
Amaymon would be met with futile resistance which came in the form of the Brotherhood of Light, an organization founded and led by Cornell, Cleric, and Zobek. The three joined forces with the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda, and stood in Amaymon's path to defend mankind. However, they discovered that even if they could defeat him he would simply reconstitute himself as he is powered by his own realm which fed upon the souls that were sacrificed for the conjuring of the Hell Gate.
With this in mind, the three of them put their power to another use. They led Sparda to the summoning chamber in the heart of the Bernhard family's castle, where they re-opened the portal to the Plane of Darkness and Sparda forcing Amaymon back through it before sealing it shut with an immensely powerful spell tied directly into the life force of the three founders, trapping him in his home dimension.
