Al Abyad

Al Abyad ("the White One"), also known as Murrah al-Abyad Abu al-Harith, Abu al-Nur, or the White King, is a djinn and one of the lords of Jinnestan.

Description

He is shown on the right in the form of an old wrinkled jinn with yellowish tanned skin. His shoulders are girdled with a blue stole and he wears orange shorts.

Overview

Al Abyad is the ruler of Monday, the moon, the color white, the metal silver and is said to be monitored by the angel Gabriel. Al Abyad is believed to be the devil who tempted the hermit Barsisa and is the closest to Iblis in his court within Jinnestan.
