Adytum's Wake is one of the oldest Sarkic cults as well as a clandestine secret society that practices the occult.
Overview[]
Adytum's Wake is purported to be the oldest North American Sarkic cult, founded around 1650. The cult was presumably destroyed November 28, 1952 by the Global Occult Coalition, which led to the creation of PE-2480.
In the 20th century, Adytum's Wake was led by Cornelius P. Bodfel III, a millionaire industrialist, who was also known as Karcist Sulkisk. The group would frequently gather at Bodfel Manor, Massachusetts, where they would host ritual orgies that included rape, pedophilia, human sacrifice, and cannibalism. These events were meticulously documented with journals and photographs. Members of the group consisted of respected politicians, leaders of industry, and religious authority.
Although believed to have been dismantled and destroyed by the GOC, it was revealed to have revived under the leadership of Vivian Durant-Croÿ somewhere in the mountainous region of Eastern Europe in the 20th century. The cult resurged by Vivian as a tool to control the locals in order to conduct experiments on humans using the power of the Mold with the goal of resurrecting her daughter, Eva, who died of the Spanish flu.
