Abdiel denounces Satan
Abdiel, name meaning "Servant of God", is a high-ranking angel or seraph that is known for having resisted Lucifer and Satan's temptation into joining their cause to dethrone God and destroy humanity respectively.

Abdiel denounces Satan after hearing him incite revolt among the angels, and abandons Lucifer to bring the news of his defection to God. However, when he arrives, he finds that preparations are already underway for battle. In the ensuing fight, Abdiel smites fallen angels such as Moloch, Arioch, and presumably among others.
Abdiel even had a hand unleashing a strike against Satan himself in a vain attempt to bring him down with the aid of Ariel and Hasmed. Ariel subdued Satan by one arm while Hasmed subdued him by the other arm, giving Abdiel an opening for him to drive his sword into his chest. However, this only served to infuriate Satan as the Arbiter let out a terrible hollar that shook the stars and made angels flee in terror, knocking back Abdiel before doing the same to Hasmed and Ariel.
Abdiel was said to have been incapacitated by Satan's roar and the sound followed him throughout the immortal eons of his existence. But this did not deter him from his duties as he would later intercept Agiel and several fallen angels from locating Earth for Lucifer. Abdiel and his host fought against Agiel's legions until they were promptly defeated and imprisoned in Saturn.
