"After the creation of the universe and all its beauty, God and Asherah rested beneath the first tree. During the impossible twelve labours beset to him by gods and kings, the great hero Heracles rested in the shade of an oak tree. Throughout his life of preaching his love and his fatigue of resisting against the Devil and the doubtful, Jesus rested by an olive tree. After his long and arduous mission of severing Hell's blackened grip over humanity, the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda, laid to rest upon the grassy plain, overlooking the endless sea of stars. These extraordinary figures of myth and legend, with all that might, power, and wisdom in the palms of their hands, even they know struggle. And as such, even they must rest to bask upon the beauty that surrounds them so it may invigorate them to continue on and preserve its beauty. It's okay to stop and rest. For you have more than earned it."

We all know about the Werebeasts and Vampires, the Olympeans as well as Angels and Demons, but what about other factions of the Demonic Paradise?
This post will shed light on one of the more obscure groups within the fandom..
Gods, spirits, and locations related to Dreams.
Phantasos | God of Surreal Dreams
Phantasos was the god of surreal dreams; he represents the inanimate objects seen in Prophetic dreams, images of earth, rock, water and wood.
"If you have ever had a dream that delved into the bizarre, your dream was likely under the shadow of Phantasos."
Morpheus | God of Helpful Dreams
Morpheus, also known as Somnia, was the Greek God of Dreams, the one with the amazing ability of appearing in dreams of mortals in any form.
Morpheus was the god responsible for the dreams of people. When in the arms of Morpheus people would enjoy a sound sleep, but would also see dream about their future or even coming events.
Hypnos | The Personification of Sleep
Hypnos, also known as Somnus, is the personification of sleep in Greek mythology. He is an aspect of Dream, a member of the Endless, and is also a subordinate of him.
His children Morpheus ("Shape"), Phobetor ("Fear") and Phantasos ("Imagination, Phantasy") are the gods of the dream. It is claimed that he has many more children, which are also Oneiroi.
Nyx | Mother of Night
Nyx is the primordial Greek goddess of night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation and mothered other personified deities such as Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death), with Erebus (Darkness).
"Darkness guide you, child. You have outgrown this house, of that I am now certain. Should you return again here, I shall keep you safe." - Nyx
Baku | The Dream Eaters
Baku are Japanese supernatural dream demons that devour dreams and nightmares. They have a long history in Japanese folklore and art.
The creature has its origins in Ancient China, where it is described as a chimeral creature with the trunk of an Elephant, paws of a Tiger, eyes of a Rhino, and tail of an Ox.
Dreamlands | The Realm of Dreams
The Dreamlands is a metaphysical plane of symbol, belief, and imagination that is ever-changing. The inhabitants of the Dreamlands are called dreams and nightmares, often they are gods, myths, and even ordinary human beings who later became dreams.
Spiders of Leng | Horrors of the Dreamlands
The Spiders of Leng, also known as the Great Spiders or Leng Spiders, are a species of monstrous and carnivorous spiders that are the children of Old One known as Atlach-Nacha.
The Spiders of Leng appear as purple-colored arachnid creatures that appear somewhat similar to terrestrial spiders yet on a much larger scale, the smaller of the Spiders of Leng are the size of a Shetland pony; larger specimens would tower over an elephant.
Moon Beasts | The Moon Horrors
The Moon Beasts, also known as Lunarians, were toad-like creatures living in the Dreamlands' version of the moon, active in the trade of human slaves and gold (in exchange for their rubies) in the port of Dylath-Leen, on Earth's dreamlands.
The moon beasts are described as pale, squat, toad-like creatures, which are also superhumanly strong with a noxious odor. They have no eyes but instead a mass of pink tentacles at the end of their snout likely used as a substitute to detect and see through incredibly enhanced senses of smell.
Dreamstone | From Dreams To Reality
The Dreamstone is a powerful conceptual object crafted by Dream of the Endless. The most powerful of these stones, the Dream Ruby or the Materioptikon, serves as Dream's symbol of power, along with his helm and the sand pouch.
The most prominent and strongest Dreamstone is known as the Materioptikon. When one wields the Dreamstone, it allows the wielder to see dreams and bringing them into reality, along with reshaping reality itself.
Dream | The Sandman
Dream, also known as the Sandman or Morpheus, is one of the seven Endless, inconceivably powerful beings older and greater than gods, Dream is both lord and personification of all dreams and stories, all that is not in reality.
"People think dreams aren't real just because they aren't made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes." - Dream
This wiki/project is absolutely amazing, but I’m having trouble following so could someone explain how this world began—in universe—so I could have somewhere to start?

Who of you has already watched Devil May Cry on Netflix?
those who haven't watched it should watch it and don't read it because there may be spoilers, and those who watched it, what do you expect for season 2?
I expect:
• Either Mary will free Dante from the jar where they keep him to fight Vergil because Vergil will prove to be too strong for Darkcom, or Vergil will free Dante and try to convert him to Mundus' side
• something will be like that Mary didn't arrest Dante to arrest him, but to protect him, because in a sense he's the last person she cares about, and she can protect him better in DarkCom than outside of it
• Trish, because since they already released Mundus, it's possible that there will be Trish, but in a different form than from Games
• Dante will lose to Vergil the first time and win the second time
• Mundus will try to bribe Dante with something
• There will be a moment of romance between Dante and Mary but I don't bet that there will be a whole love story, they will either abandon this idea or leave it for the next season
• Propaganda from both sides and planned sabotages from both sides the vice president will want to sabotage his own and accuse demons to prove how evil Makai is and Mundus will sabotage his own and accuse people to show how evil people are

On this wiki, do beings like angels and demons have souls?
Is it possible that SCP-2747 (Anafabula) and Asherah could be the same? In the SCP world, SCP-2747 is treated as... someone who manipulated and even created the Scarlet King, and Ashera in the Demonic Paradise Created the Scarlet King and Sentinel of Creatio and his Siblings Additionally, Theoretically Both Are Goddesses (in the case of SCP-2747 it depends on Canon)

I have always wondered what people used on their information and knowledge on angels and demons, specifically like names.
Felt like sharing it since it fits the theme of the Demonic Paradise.

In Andras' article says, that Marchosias is his disciple. What is the source of this?
Hey, I know this may seem like an extremely weird question, but I was wondering what the state of the world is like in the Demonic Paradise. Apart from all of the mythological stuff that happens, is it a dystopian world or utopian, maybe a bit of both? For which ever answer (if y'all wanna answer), can y'all explain how incredible or horrible it is?
